Biography

With 25+ years experience of traditional and computer based Illustration, Animation and Design. I trained at Central Saint Martins at the London Animation School.

I’m based in the North West and have over the years worked for a variety of studios from Cosgrove Hall Films, Nickleodeon, Cartoon Network, BBC, ITV, Tell-Tale Productions, Fat City Films, Stardotstar and most recently Factory Transmedia.

Whilst at Cosgrove Hall I worked on a number of projects from pilots to Interstitials using both Flash and Toon Boom Harmony. Jean Flynn’s ‘Eddie Retractorhead‘ which was developed as a series of interstitials for Nickleodeon and was nominated for a BAFTA. In 2007 a show I worked on with Jez Hall ‘Safe and Sound‘ for Stardotstar won 3 BIMAs and a Big Chip award.

In the last few months I’ve finished working on the BBC series ‘Muddle Earth‘. ┬áMy initial task was to help kit and finalise the design of the characters in Flash, then I acted as a link between the various departments to keep animation flowing through the studio as well as troubleshooting any issues we had.
